I used to sleep in a position from which I wouldn't have any problems, when I used to have the problem. Have you looked for pads designed for this problem... unfortunately I'm not sure which ones do that anymore, but I would spend some real time in the feminine isle and find the right design with contours on the sides. The other thing you can do is use a tampon; they are now deemed safe for over night use; and then back it up with a pad if it makes you feel better.
