Please recommend a good freeware to download music? free from any virus?

I want something easy to use, not too heavy, not easy to get infected and with the lowest number of shareware and all that crap these freewares always come with. I've avoided downloading music for a good 3 or 4 years, but buying CD's is just way too expensive...thanks!
