Why does the media never focus on how Madoff's victims, not just Madoff were Jewish?

The media always insinuates his Jewry, or mentions his affiliations with Jewish organizations. But they never talk about how nearly all of his victims were Jews, which helps insinuate anti-Semitic stereotypes of the "Jewish swindler." Why does the media leave the truth out? Why is there so much anti-Semitism?
