Could this affect my spatial reasoning ability?

I am only 19, but I had a stroke when I was 18 in 2007 and a quarter of the left hemisphere of my cerebellum is "dead." I've noticed that, especially lately, when I drive at night, I get REALLY on edge and nervous. I find it hard to trust myself because it seems that cars are closer than they actually are or farther than they actually are from me. Could my stroke have affected my spatial reasoning, do you think?
