How can I properly clean my baby's pacifier?

After washing my baby's pacifier (NUK) there seems to be water trapped inside the nipple. I am worried mold or bacteria will start growing inside. See is just getting over thrush so I boil her pacifier every night. How can I get all of the water out properly?
