Are foundation skate board decks good? ( opinions plz!!)?

ok so i just got a brand new never used fondation deck. and i axeidently drop it and it feel down 20 stairs now its all cracked and chiped!! but i thought dudes ollie down like 30 stairs and stuff and board slides you know what i mean??? is foundation a good brand?because the cashier and the shred shop in skookie said it was. opinions plz?
