What does the use of white and bridal imagery mean?

i am reading the great gatsby and i need to find a quote in each chap that shows bridal innocece...it says look for use of white and bridal imagery..note language that refers to purity and incorrupitbility...so yeah if someone could just sum that up and expplain it to me so i kno what im should write and look for
